17 inch wheels give a good balance of handling, tyre options and brake clearance
18 inch wheels fill the arches but give a greater roller radius, decreasing acceleration
Other sizes can be run, with many people running wider wheels and tyres
Wheel spacers
Wheel spacers are a great way to improve fitment, use hub-centric wheel spacers and use extended wheel studs if needed
Camber and geo
Stock suspension has a small amount of adjustment on the rear and non on the front. Camber bolts can be bought for the front and adjustable camber arms for the rear. High quality coilovers will come with camber plates for the front strut tops
Lowering springs can be a cost effective away of lowering the car but don't offer any height adjustment to dial in the set up
Arch rolling
The stock rear arches come under the body by a fair amount so can rub when running a more aggressive fitment, they can be rolled up into the arch for clearance but can deform the body line of the arch if not done properly
Arch rolling can effect resale value of the car
